Help Needed to get Heater Working
Hi everyone. I have a 2004 BA Falcon sedan that is not getting warm inside. Air Con works, vents work, fans work but cant get it to blow warm air into cabin. Its only just haoppened and I have laerned that the ENTIRE dash, RH seat, console etc. have to come out to replace a broken plastic mixer shaft. Is there any other way as the cost is HUGE ? Or does anyone have a phot sequence and I will have a go myself. This is my daily driver and so not real urgent at this time of year but will need to fix over summer.
Thanks to anyone who can help. I am in Melbourne and I have an old '84 Mustang that I am doing things on slowly and I am sick of the crap bits in newer cars. I am really careful with cars and not heavy handed and yet I have already had the BA bonnet release fail because the plastic attachment bracket off an instrument fuse compartment, failed when the leaver was gently operated. Also boot light has failed but bulb is not blown and apparently switch is electronic and also complex and expensive to fix. Hand brake also goes out of adjustment so often its not worth adjusting.
Can anyone help with this latest heater disaster please.
Geoff
