OK so I have this really strange water leak on my AUII Sedan,
not your standard coolant but rain water. It's dripping under the
car on the front passenger's side. See First Picture Photo 1.

So now you can see where im talking about here are 3 other
Photos showing exactly what is leaking.

Now I haven't pulled anything apart because I have no idea
where to start or what im looking for. But if it rains then for a few
days after whenever I leave a car park I leave a little wet patch.
Same goes if I give it a wash. It's not water running down under
from the door because you can see that area it clearly dry.

No leaks inside the car or under the bonnet so im really
confused, any help or ideas would be good.

I hope the pictures help because I don't even know what the stuff
under the car is called, and when I try and explain itknow one
understands what Im on about.

Thanks All

I am sure I read a thread on this, and it is a problem, see where the metal splits apart just a tiny bit underneath, photo4, you need to get something, preferably a plastic cable tie, and ram it up and down should loosen some dirt and water should run out, that should stop it collecting in there so easily, but it does happen from memory, I may be wrong, but most cars I have had or seen, get the problem.

Had it on my AU2 and BA as well.
In the rear quarter panel area on mine, where the inner and outer are bonded together.
A little bit too much sealant gets applied and blocks up the drain holes, leaving the panels to hold water.
I dug mine mine out with some welding wire.
No doubt after a few years in will have plenty of holes to drain through.
