So is there any more developments on the elusive HO??

any news would be very refreshing. I notice FM mentioned a new color late next year.. FM more details about the car mate not the color

Latest I heard it was still on the go, to be displayed at next years SMS, released Jan/Feb afterwards.. following the traditional "FPV 3-year delay cycle", ie. FPV being 3 years too late to market with whatever model is released at that time. Oh we wouldn't want them releasing a model more often than 18 months apart would we??? Croikey!!!!

seems like an unusual strategy to me.

That suggests that if the HO is released in Jan/Feb 06, then that would be in the copperhead cycle?? while being a while before the all new falcon in late 2006 early 07...?

could be like the territory where although that was released prior to MK2, it had improved features and technology, could be the same here. The HO could be giving us a taste of the all new falc? Interesting...

Any further word on driveline config? Obvisouly the 6spd auto... what they do with the engine is what interests me... are they s/c, could it be the new 6.2L, or a further developed BOSS with VCT finally implemented....?

I need to get more info out of the boys... i'm sure they now know as my mate that works on front end safety structures and design has had to finalise and get sign off recently... this info would be needed to do this.

Perhaps someone who has driven or ridden in the car should comment. I was at FPV a few weeks back and noted a made up mule with a distinct sound leaving the engineering area. I don't know if I was imaginin g it though. It was a dark metallic with black bonnet and body pieces. Didn't see the exhaust pipe/s at the rear either. Like I said it was a quick glimpse.

Am I on the money?
