Me, I think if Holden are going to adopt more and more AWD into their model lineup, it will give them an advantage... they obviously will be aiming to be the Subaru of large cars.

It disappoints me to think about Ford's mentality in regards to this - that the "Terrortory" will be all things to all people, and in no circumstances, will the Falcon or any of it's variants, have even the option of AWD. They are cutting their own feet off.. but then again, they have become rather adept at this lately...

GTHO and FPVT6 had better be good, and relevant... ie. not released in a phucking year's time..

Crikey, can I get any more disillusioned with Ford AU?

I'm too busy thinking about how FPV raped me with the POS I have. If I was shopping for another car today you can bet it would be dark side.

I would be much more interested in an AWD wagon/ute/car than a @#$% Territory.

it's safe to say the Terrortory will have a HDT option ( I have seen the proposal pics ) but I think that with 300kg extra the 240 Kw will be working pretty hard.
A Boss motor would work far better but I would bet sparkles left miniscule teste that it will not happen.
I forsee the HDT will be in everything Ford AU own and no V8 ... if that happens then I guess I will have no option other than the darkside for a V8 .. pushrod or otherwise.
At the very least they need a XR6T AWD not a territory HDT

i find it amazing that we are able to see this release from a holden media site, yet we see nothing of the sort from ford... i hope they are keeping some serious machines top secret to surpise us.

My opinion on the holden product line up... well the more "choices" we as customers have the better.. in saying that though, i wouldn't neccessarily think that everything going awd is the way to go... with the weight the new awd commodores seem to be hitting, they're going to need more than 270kw to be anywhere near the current lineup....

Perfectly good blower assembly straight out of the Moostang parts bin that I've no doubt would be an easy fit!!

I agree.The Explorer is already here and an available option for SUV buyers and it looks sweet too.
We also have the Ford Escape here for the smaller SUV peeps.

Every farmer and his dog will want an AWD Holden ute if Holden gets one sorted properly.

@#$% the Territory. Ford better have done their homework on this one .

Well I can't see any plans for the current series Falcon or any further evolutions to the series to adopt AWD. I guess they will try and run hard with the Territory and try and move their expected 30,000 per year volumes, which I still can't fully understand seeing capacity will increase somewhere around the 12,000 mark next year. I'm lost.
