holley elec choke??

gday
does anyone have any idea where i can get power for an holley electric choke in a xw???

Yes , you can get power from your left arm... If you convert to manual choke...Ha, Ha. Some Holleys can be converted to manual choke , some can't . Example , I don't think 650 spreadbores can .

nah im happy with the elec choke but cant find a place to get power for it
i thought the coil would be appropriate but apparently it only gives 8-9v and it needs 12v to work

Why don't you run a wire directly from the battery and just black tape along your loom somewhere to it's point of exit ???

'Dah' , what was I thinking ... of course. You will just have to check through your loom with a multi-metre then and find 12 volts. Electronic ignition runs on 12-volts...converting to this although potentially expensive could be practical and usefull ????

yeah i think ill try that
i got a mate down the road with a multimeter so ill just pinch it off him and find a 12v source
