don't worry about how fat you are its what motor pulls you!

Hey most of us folks are way over the hill now and we used to be musclly athletic sorts and we now all tubby yobbos, hey nothing lasts forever! Sure your car being lighter may help you accelerate a few 10th's of a second faster, so bloody what! Falcons are not designed as sports cars there cruisers mate (or lass?), please get that into your head.

A big 3.9l, 4l I l6, 5l, 4.6l, 5,4l,5.6l, 5.8l, 6.4,7l V8's donks should get you all along slightly faster. Anyway once you get moving in your big bird Falcon she's all wine and roses. Anyway the EA is one of the lightest Falcons around compare it to a XC Falcon, lordy! Though being too light also presents problems if you are going to do any serious modifications......

With all 5 blokes in the GTHO 429 EA she weighs well over 2.7ts *easy with gas and all and she goes like a deranged bullet. Its all about power to weight I spose. Though only cars are not designed with P/W ratios more like motorbikes and jet fighters where all the stuff Is very necesary I believe... Anyway with the sheer road presence of your Falcon you should be able to scare most people out of your way!

weight ?

My EA is a gl with aiccond and 4sp so the base 1500 kg would rise to around 1580-1600kgs for mine , thats pretty light for a big Falcon.

The LTD is a heavy bitch

The LTD is at least 200kg heavier than a GL, plus with all the crap I've added it would be very close to 2 tons I think. I'll try and get it weighed, anybody know where a weighbridge is in the Dandenong area?

Re: The LTD is a heavy bitch

Dont worry pete im just having a joke, but some people just dont know when to stop. :)

why is it that the fairmont ghia is 1630 (minus my body weight, and yes i am fat!) and the GL 1500. It must be why the S-pack goes harder than the Fairmont Ghia. Damn will have to start doing more engine mods.
