The prices tend to vary a fair bit. I recommend looking up similar cars your area for a good general idea of what to expect.

The only problem I have with the Red Book is that they give very pessimistic values. The market value of my car according to the RACV is a massive 50 to 100% greater than the redbook prices. The Trading Post prices are more 'real-world', and likely to be somewhere in between those extremes.

Red Book is great for comparative purposes and general information, however.

bear in mind Jack that the TP prices are 'asking' prices.. I think you will find that people rarely get exactly what they are asking for...

I paid $3500 for an 89 S Pac 5 speed with the MPI motor, is this reasonable? I don't really know whats good prices here yet. It needs a new clutch. The cost of a new water pump plus install was taken off the price after the water pump snapped off the car and fell onto the road. It had 233km and a few dents which are noticable when the car is dirty. It is the same colour as a taxi too - yellow
