Re: how much?

Jeez, mate, it's the old "how long is a piece of string" argument..

Depends on whether rust/panel repairs are required....and how much.

Depends on what donk you want....and what you want to do to it.

Depends on wheels...tyres...

.....interior....

.....sound.....

.....extras....

Best thing is to budget (realistically) what you want to spend, and try to stick to it.

Re: how much?

True... To get it into nice condition from bad.. I'd say at least 10K. I'm hopefully not gonna spend that much on mine, but that price as a max I'd say. Just to get it back to standard anyway.

Re: how much?

I'd agree with the $10,000 figure but it usually goes over by double or triple that

Re: how much?

Mine has cost about double what I first calulated .Best bet is to get quotes on doing the things you now you want done and then take a look at what is left to do on the car then add a couple more thousand for little things that you would never have thought of .
The worst killer is doing the things that aren't broken yet but worth replacing now because its easier to do now than later .With you doing the paint you will save a great deal .As Brenden said I would aim for $10,000 but would allow double.

Re: how much?

i would have spent 10k on the gt already and i havn't started on the body yet.
if your going to spend a lot of money try and get something that won't depreciate for example one of the rarer models like: gt, gs, esp, cobra.
