I'm looking at getting a new car and came across a SXR6 for under $5000. It has 270 000km. redbook listing is $3,900 - $5,900. How much would forum members pay for it?

and what are the differences between the ed and eb xrs mechanically because on paper they both make 161kw.

Mechanically there was no differance, you should have no probs finding an EB S XR6 for around or under $5k.
Depending on the kays and condition of the car, and mods etc, id pay apto about $7-$8K for one of these, but that would be a top car.
Is this one your looking at Auto or manual?

thats a heap of kays, it wouldn't have the twinlight front, i'd give him closer to the 3.5k- $4000 mark or hunt for an ED for the $5000.. A customer sold his Colbolt Blue ED XR6 auto for $4200 with 180 000 klms on it about 2 months ago..

i paid the my father the trade in price Ford had offered (7k) for his late 93 xr6 auto 190thou kms about 2 months ago ,he had it from 89000 kays 18k back then!
just buy one they are an excellent car!!!! still goes as hard as day one
