How much for standard EL XR8?

I own an EL V8 but it's automatic and I am not a huge fan of it. I am considering getting a manual EL XR8 but I don't want to spend too much. I would be looking at getting a standard one. I am prepared to spend about $16,000 max. Would I find a decent example for this much?

Re: How much for standard EL XR8?

I would have said good luck finding a manual

They're not all that common. I would possibly consider getting a manual conversion done (although its not cheap). If you are happy with the car and its condition, this might be a viable option that slightly less risky (and in some ways less hassle), than finding another . . .

Barring any disasters, I'm getting this done in Feb on my EL . . .

I know of a certain series 2 XR8 manual that may be what you are after.. but would be a little over your stated budget however!
