how much do you pay for minor and a major service and whats included in those services and where do you go to get them done

we charge 104.50 inc tax for minor service that includes oil and filter and 1 hr labour and we basically check over everything fromtop to bottom and qoute on any extra work that needs doing before it is carried out as for price on major service it really depends on car type and mileage, if previous service history is up to scratch,hard to qoute give me more of idea and i will see if i can fill in the blanks for you

On my 2003 BA XR6, I was quoted $220 for a minor service (as per the handbook), which from memory is just oil, filter, and general checkover.
We asked for the car to have a major service (it's at 60,000ks), and were quoted $320.
That gets the oil + filter and air filter changed plus the same general checks and whatnot. The fuel filter is changed every 90,000ks, though the dealer offered to change mine as well, and download the lastest ECU update, all included in that price.
That was Peter Warren Liverpool, which is where the car was originally purchased from.

Since I bought the car secondhand as an ex-Govt. fleet car we don't really know the service history (the book has been stamped as having been done by a mobile mechanic), so we decided to take the car to a dealer for service just to make sure it was all ok.
After this we'll probably take it to family friends who we know we can trust.

i am only paying 45 dollar for my service on a 2000 falcon forte if i got a xr6 turbo how much do you think i will be paying for a service at a mechnic
