ok i just bought a EF xr6 but i ahve teh starnge feeli9ng it might of been in crash due to it's not it orginal colour and taht on the seat belt has teh tage shoeing if u can see teh red tag saying replace seatbelt. well i can see that tag.

Does teh dealr have to tell u if it has been in a crash even if he doesn't know (eg. does he have to check 1st on any database?)

Oh how can u tell if its a xr6? my seat inserts area green,purbale,gray colour
i do have reker cover, tickford plark on are in take.

i sthere a special motor code or option code on the plate?

Don't worry about the seat-belt tag showing, every second EF is the same, including mine.

if its been hit in the front check all the bolts where the quarter panels connect to the engine bay. If the bolts have been taken off you can tell buy some paint being missing,scratches/ chiped paint on the bolts.

no. but boly idea is good bu all bots have been repainted so i ws thinking some one crashed it and said it well i want it this colour now. i will phone teh transport company c if they can help. it is genuine xr6 had a look at orginal paper work

You can call REVS and find out if it is a previously written off vehicle. My mate just bought a Magna that was. He checked it first and bought it anyway, cause he liked it and it was really cheap and he's a bit dumb.

Gday mate. Heard you got your self an XR6. Might come up this afternoon and check her out. Is it manual? Not shure whats REVS stands for but you go through them to check details of cars to see if they are stolen, ridden off, ect. Good to see your stickin with the blue oval.

yea comea rround any time it is a 5 speed, it ahs extractors, sports exaust, ss induction cold air, 8mm leads, k&n filter and soem damm massive rims considering thease are emant to be 15"

Yuor murds aer a mit buddled...but I understand!! Don't EF Ford's have a small sticker on each panel with a number on it? I thought that was how you could tell if a panel had been changed on one of those...all the panels should have same numbers on each sticker?? I know they did it on ED's!! If you want to know if your car is a genuine EF Falcon XR6...I'm pretty sure that if your EF Falcon has a Tickford XR6 engine code on it's identification plate,then it should be a genuine XR6?? I do not know what the code is,but someone on here should know what it is,and if I am right or not?...goodluck!!
