Well guy's I've just got back from picking up this XY Fairmont wagon, that has a GS Steeringwheel on it, YAH BLOODY WHOA, I've serched high and low for one and finally I own one,it was really the only thing on the car that I wanted, but it did come with a 250-2V, C4 auto and all the usual Fairmont gear,but all I wanted was this bloody wheel, about time I say.

Did you say that you picked up a genuine GS Farimont Wagon?! Congrats on the purchase, seems like a very good buy. What about the carby did you finally get your 2-bbl Stromberg?

are the GS steering wheels rare? ive got one in immaculate condition thats going in my coupe. No splits, cracks nothing. the grip is still firm and attached to the metal and the emblem in the middle hasnt got a single crowsfoot or crack.

just thought i'd brag a bit there :0 :)

The whole package cost me $850, which is roughly what a GS rim is worth itself.

Thank's mate, yes it has the original stromy, the whole motor is totally original, just like when it left the factory.

Yes the GS rim's are very rare, but the XW/Y ones are rarer and worth more than the XA/B one's which are identical to the GT rim's of the XA/B's, I also have an IMACULATE XA/B GT/GS rim at home, not a mark on it.but I really wanted an XW/Y one,and now I finally do.
