(Third Battery (Deep Cycle) 750CCA)

100AH for running the new 80L fridge/freezer I'm picking up tomorrow arvo. Obviously the third battery isn't installed yet, but that will happen soon :)

Re: I have more CCA than you!

In the boot somewhere, haven't decided exactly where yet though. The boot will get a whole redesign soon, all new cabinet work :)

Re: I have more CCA than you!

My wreck has ABS too but it is apparently an integrated system. It may be easier to install an EB Bendix system. Not that I know what I'm on about. :$

Great stuff Alex, does the car start easier now?

Re: I have more CCA than you!

Thanks for the offer John, but I plan to get ABS when I buy a V8 wreck for myself :)

After all this I'm a bit short of cash so yeah, not really something I'll be doing just yet anyway.

It doesn't really start easier Jack because of the smart solenoid system that separates the batteries. What it does it will join the batteries together if the voltage of the main battery is above 13.2 volts, and will separate them if the main battery voltage drops to 12.4 volts. Batteries generally will settle at 12.4 volts, so by the time you go to start your car in the morning the batteries will have settled to about 12.4 and will have separated. However, if the solenoid detects that the main battery is flat or has too little power to start the engine, it will join the batteries to aid the main battery in starting the engine.

Re: I have more CCA than you!

good to see some alternate mods happening

gota be happy rocking up to a party to bust out your cold beer and meat, one question...when the fridge temp increases and starts up to cool down, will it draw on the third battery only when the car is running or until its flat and is recarged once the car is running.
