I love my BAXr6T...
the only thikn i'd change now is my screen

i have a lcd screen and hoping i can upgrade it to the colour screen


does anyone know if that is possible???

Big job if its possible at all. Remove dash, remove ICC, purchase new colour ICC from Ford, program it to work with ecu, reinstall into dash etc. I think you need a new wiring loom for the new ICC etc as well.

It may be possible to intercept the video signal from the ICC and have it channelled into an external monitor - lot of hard work and if the output from ICC is monochrome will not help being on a colour screen.

You should have otioned the premium sound - comes with colour screen. Maybe ask Ford if they can do this now - it was a $900 option on new vehicles

I dont think it is possible, but who knows.... I thought the monochrome screen was LCD and the colour screen is a TFT screen so it would mean a complete change. The colour screen is also larger and has more functions, as far as I know.... and many of these functions relate to premium audio....
