Its Arrived

Hi There,

Well yesterday the salesman advised me that my car 2004 Envi XR6, with lux pack and sunroof, was arriving at the dealership today, and i cant tell you how excited i was!!!, so i popped down there and watch them take my baby off the back of the truck, ( also to see if had incured any damage whilst in tranist), she looks beautiful , i got to jump inside her and get to know my new machiene, alos noted the kms on the clock 2.5 kms to be exact, should gain delivery in a few days hopefully.

Also while i was at the dealer i brought some more accessories for the car, fog lamp and headlight covers and a few other little bits that i have not metioned in my previous threads.

Need to get a mate digital camera for pics of the car, but that should not be a prob, hope you enjoyed the update everyone, cant wait till i drive it,

Quick question, in the factory exhuast, is it any good, or r there better one on the market, i dont want one for ear blistering sound, just one to improve power and economy,

Re: Its Arrived

There are aftermarket exhausts out there that will always be better than stock, but it will depend on a few things.

If you are just wanting to do exhaust then that is fine....some AM Exhausts work better with engine modifications some are fine without the mods. Personally I would just stick with the stocker until you know what you would like to do to the car, if anything. The stocker is a good exhaust, while a little restrictive it is still a good exhaust to have.

Re: Its Arrived

Nothing beats that excitement when you see your car for the first time at the dealer, it almost brought a tear to my eye, when i saw mine.

Re: Its Arrived

Good stuff !!
I am with LunaticSVT .. I wouldn't get too excited just yet. The NA XR6 is still quite a rapid car and I am not sure that you would gain a lot with an after market exhaust.

cool Re: Its Arrived

GT-P Freak,

I had one fitted at Aussie Car Enhancements here in Melton and couldn't recommend them high enough. He uses DiFilippo Performance Exhausts, and had an SS Air Induction fitted too and lowered as well.
Magnificent now......

Re: Its Arrived

What about the factory exhaust that has the built in hair dryer.

Re: Its Arrived

I'd almost put it up there with seeing my daughter being born. Ahh the anticipation while driving to the dealer to inspect it and then having to wait a day to take delivery.
