My friend has come across a 351 with JG33 as the first digits.

they are ported and polished 2v heads with 4 valves. Thats all I know about it...hone marks still in bore...

Is this a GT motor? what are they worth?

depends if you can find the car to go with that engine. If you can find the matching car someone may part with alot to get it back!

It is a GT sedan motor but it's nothing special unless it's attached to the original car really. The heads have obviously been off so I expect it has been rebuilt.
It's worth the same as any other 351 of that spec .. maybe a wee bit more.

ok my mate bought this motor, we started it up (after it was put back together with new gasket kit and everything re tensioned etc) but it sounds really rattly? I am told GT motors sounded like this due the high lift or something? A friend of mine had a legit xy gt that apprantly made a similar noise. Are they meant to sound like this or is there something wrong with this one?
