June Price Rise?

OK guys and gorillas, is a June Price Rise (or perhaps July, since this implies financial yearism) a reality, or yet another sales-driven buy-the-car-now gimmick?

I don't think we'll be waiting until June.

A $7k increase for the XR6T is only fair IMO...

Not the car itself. I think the XR6T is a master stroke of development genius. I just think that it's place in the lineup under values the range of V8's above it, starting with the XR8.

hmmm ... FM

"the range of V8s above it" .... just because the V8 cost more than the 6T doesn't mean diddleesquat with regard to the "range order"

and if it is "not the car itself" is it the drivers of the 6Ts or the shortcomings of the v8's ???

don't mean to flame here but what is FM's thing with 6Ts (apart from getting boring)

a bbq anyone?

The price rise is being discussed I believe, and it could be up 1.5%.
Thing is, it will be for June build cars and the dealer apparently will have to make allowances in quotes to buyers for June build cars before the public announcement.

On the range lineup vs Dollar Bang for Bucks, the SS with its high 13's 1/4 is actually quicker than alot of the HSV lineup isnt it?
