Yup, 100% sure it's an EB.

You can sort of see the Classic just in front of the rear wheel in this shot.

Definately an EB with that front end.

Practically impossible to read in this pic, but it's a Falcon GLi

I'll get some better pictures tomorrow during the daylight, but yes, I'm 100% sure it's a EB Falcon GLi Classic.

Re: Just a quick question...

Oh, unless I'm very much mistaken, the fact that it's a GLi and not a GL, and that it has 4.0 badge (and the close-enough-to-4 litre 3984cc MPI engine), makes it a Series II EB at the very earliest, because before the Series II EB there was no GLi and starting with EB Series II, what was previously the GL model became the GLi. And it wasn't until EB Series II that the 4.0 MPI became standard across the entire Falcon range (asides, obviously, from the few models equipped with the 5.0 V8, such as the EB GT).

But hey, I could be wrong, this is only what I've learnt from reading on the internet at sites such as http://www.eafalcon.com on which I just noticed that the steering wheel is in fact the stockie: ebsteeringwheel.jpg

I'll get more information tomorrow, including build date and some clearer, daylight pictures of the engine bay, side of the car (including "Classic" writing and stripe), a better picture of the front and rear and some pictures of the interior.

Re: Just a quick question...

I have seen a couple of other EB GLi Classics, very few and far between however, they're all the same colour as mine too (Everglade Green). I think it was the ED that was the first E Series to have drivers air bags as standard. Mine has air con (that desperately needs regassed), but I don't have ABS or Cruise Control <-- bummer about that one.
It had a new transmission put in it before I bought it though. Now I want to know who stole my rims dammit!
