Its been a while since I started a thread let alone posted on the forum but have been stuffing around with something called RACER free car simulation for the last six months and its in early stages but has the ablilty to handle high poly 3d cars and tracks in a real time sim (which I might add dont come with the game the are modeled by the simracers themselves), it also uses most of the real life car data aswell eg.suspen/eng/gearbox/cg/tyres/weight/sound
anyway why I am telling you this you ask well Im currently modeling an EA-ED this is a work still in progress as it takes time (when you dont have a clue what your doing!!!) so dont expect to much I'm no designer

hey man that looks sweet as! i have no idea what your talking about but it looks sick what you have obviously made with a computer. sickness!! so are u doing what v8 supercar game designers would have to do and any other car game for that matter?

Nah, he doesn't make the game. With RACER, you can make cars in 3DSmax or something, and put them in the game. The EB looks pretty sweet tho!

Another game thats pretty good is Live For Speed, www.liveforspeed.net it's made by 3 guys, and is really good fun to play

the car is going to be a replica of an EA svo first using all the data I can find to create it to behave like it does in real life its no game its taken awhile to figure out so far and I know jack
some of the 100 odd cars and 40 tracks are very impressive and if youve got a half decent pc the graphics will rip any game on the planet worth a look and its sometihg for nothing dont get that much these days!!!!!

dude!! That looks sweet and it saves me from doing it!
If you don't mind I'd love to grab a copy of the file to convert for live for speed as soon as that comes out.
I can't wait for an xbox car game with live support that allows new cars. ohhhhh baby that will be good.

That a photoskin you've got on it? What's the poly count?

I used to drabble in modeling for first person shooters, but I've long given that away. And it was all low poly stuff, so I might skip this

thank you swoopa! ive been searching around for an EA in a non-arcade game for ages! I look forward to it being finished!

just one thing though, could you model the EA with and without bodykit (or perhaps just the factory S bodykit).. not all of us like riced up cars (no offence fellas)lol.

I dont want the model in anything other than Racer more a loyalty thing!! once Racer goes online multiplay it will out do any thing by a long way already does with out

as for the model itself it will first be a replica of my car a SVO(probably keep to myself as this takes alot of time and aint bloody easy!!!)then will realease a stocker for racer so people can do their own mods but if you wanna help I need a good sound sample of a I6with zorst done revving steady at about 2500 also needs to be looped
and has any body seen bluprints for an ea?
