Hey Ppl

I have a EA 5 speed manual CFI.

Thinking about putting k&N Air filter on. I went to autobarn they gave me a price of $138.50 Product number is 2855

Will i notice increase in performance.. how many kws would it give my car?

Where would i notice it? Mid range, top end or take off?

Also does anyone know where to get one for better price than what i've been given?

Hmmm... I dont think you would notice much difference with the CFI. You might gain 1 or 2 rwkw if you are lucky. In my opinion, not worth the money when there are other Mods u can do (you know what im talking about

) for not much more cash :)

I noticed more performance on my CFI when i removed my unifilter(much like K&N) and installed a ram pod cost me $40.

Oh no, here we go again, yes i agree, u could better spend that money on "THAT" mod and get a heap more power.

ever thought of doing a MPFI conversion

i personally dont think you will be able to notice much of a difference if any unless there is something wrong with your current filter. but the K&N ones last a lot longer anyways so theres no harm in trying

to get full value out of a high flow air filter (k&n) you have to have extractors. a 2.5'' sports exhaust wouldnt hurt the performance either.

Just FYI straightline performance in erskenville sydney has K&N panel filters for $90...they must have seen you comming
