A while ago I had Lukey headers fitted to my EF I6, they did some minor reshaping on the factory headshielf and refitted it over the new headers.
I've noticed that most people who fit extracotrs remove it, I've got the L.P.G. converter and pipes hovering somewhere above them, so I'm just wondering if it's a good idea for me to just keep it on?

its definately agood idea keeping it, f the cooler the temp in the engine bay the better, without it u may risk melting stuff, remember it was there from the factory for a reason. the falcons engine bay is already very hot without making it worse without an exhaust heat protector

Yes I would leave it on if your using LPG they run a lot hoter than petrol. A mate of mine removed he's heat sheild while using LPG & it did a lot of damage than cost him $$$ to fix & refited the head sheild to stop the exrta heat from damaging wiring & other parts.
