Fitted the thermofans last night, had to rush a bit and couldn't tap into a ignition sorce in time, drove around with no fans. I got home today and decided I didn't want to turn the engine off at the lights for the rest of my life.
Tapped into the oxy sensor after fiddling around the fuel pump relay started to piss me off and done. Only got one fan running right now and I need to set the switch, but the engine is sooooo much quieter, I love it already!
Only down side; I paid 26 bucks for a 32mm spanner to undo the clutch fan. Hopefully it'll come in handy later on.
Also grabbed some blue LEDs from ricerbahn, trip comp came up perfect. Cluster mods WILL be happening soon, promise. I've bit the bullet and I'm saving to get the plastic made up, all other efforts to do it cheaper fell through. Keep you posted.

Speaking of removing fans, wasted half of today trying to get the mf pos of the front of the EB so I can fit the thermos. How can you stop the waterpump pulley turning to indo the bastard (and I know the V8 is a RH thread).

Are these the Monza Autoechnica ones i think 12v 0.5W , the ones used for parkers ? If so are the bright enough to illuminate the trip computer at day and night and if so are they bright enough to do the dash and so forth ?
They light the trip comp up fine. Only problem is they are directional, so they didn't do a very good job of lighting the dash. I had to sand it back a bit to get the massive dot off the trip comp display.
