The Latest Motor Magazine

Did anyone see the pcoty stats in the latest edition of Motor Magazine? I was considering getting the GT-P cause its a nice looking car in every way, the interior especially. (compared to the clubsport R8). But i gotta say, that the SS commodore is quicker to the 100km/h by .06 and slower by .03 over the 1/4 mile compared to the GT-P, WHAT THE...

For the dummies (me) can someone explain why i wouldn't get a clubby over a GT-P ( the Clubby is quicker by 1/2 a sec. to the 100). Don't get me wrong i love the GT-P, but the performance seems to be lacking... Is there something that can be done (relatively cheaply that won't affect warranty) to the GT-P after purchase that could alleviate its apparent lack of BALLS.

I just want some good bang for my buck, thats all.

Minor mods will push the GTP into the low 13's without any warranty issues.I ran a 13.7 when car was stock on one run so it all depends on how u drive em.

Re: The Latest Motor Magazine

Lets be honest get a stop watch and time .5 of a second, if you dont buy a GTP because its half a second to slow than you have other issues.Anyone can drive a straight line but cornering is where the fun is and the GTP is a great car on the twisty bits. Drive both cars and than buy one.
