Hello!

Im in the market for an XR6 5 Spd. I am debating weather to go for the AU1 or AU2? Can any one give me there comments about the different models good or bad, also anything that I should be aware of on these models (known faults etc).

I have an au 2 xr6 vct (ute) which at 33000km is going in this week for new ball joints, after having it back at the dealers twice because of the knocking noise, they finally admitted there was a problem with the type of grease they used, so I would assume the sedan could also be affected, we are talking 2001 models. By the way has anyone else had a ball joint problem? when I asked this question in the ute forum only only 2 people had known of it! am I paranoid or was there really a problem?
