Howdy everyone

I have recently been on contract for IBM installing new printers for Target Country stores, and well i have to say i quite enjoyed it all.

basicly i covered northern NSW and Southern QLD.

Ballina, Lismore, Casino, Tenterfeild, Glen Innes, Inverell, Moree, Goondiwindi, Warwick, Ipswich, Dalby, Murgon....and more.

All in all about 3,000 over 8 Days, not a bad effort, IMO.

At first i thought i would be bored and struggling to stay awake, but no where near it, i was wired the whole time.

flying down the highway listing to Jimmy barnes (not really, not my style, but the mp3 player makes life easy. 200 songs lasted about 2 days)

I suggest that anyone who hasn't gone road'tripin to go. I just wish i had more time in alot of places to take a look arround town, but the good thing was i was getting paid to do it.

Ps. i was getting about 700 - 750 kms per tank. far better that my original guestermation.

Road tripin for me is very relaxing, feels like your getting away from the everyday crap. Off my car i was getting from Rockhampton to in between Brisbane and Gold Coast on one tank of fuel. Probably about 700k's. PS it was a 90 EA S i had until about a week ago. Done that same trip 3 times and the economy was the same. Don't now why it was so good.

Got to say i love big trips. cause i love driving

i used to love driving my pezzas old 83 sigma (well it was mine when i had my p's cause the plates only came off a few times) but cruising along was soo fun with the stereo pumping. Haven't done to much in my new car, only home and back twice (melb to bairnsdale)

But i ain't much of a city boy so i love to out doors and driving along looking at all the scenary (the melb "scenary" is better though)



actually last christmas i had to drive over hotham and back in the sigma, f**k it was fun, had the wheels squilling around every corner under brakes.... damn that car was soooo fun... but i had to ease off cause i would have broke something, and killed myself..

I love the open road, that's what the LTD is made for! Up with the tunes and just cruise!

The best I've done in the LTD is 704.3km to one tank of premium, this is with a 4spd auto mind you, with a boot and back seat completely full with luggage!

nice and comfy with the stereo pumpin.
but its so hard to not go over the speed limit
