Just a quick note to any one that attended the Melbourne Holden and Ford show.
There was an individual walking around taking Digital Pictures of Vin No.'s, Rego plates and Badges.
My self and some other members of FPV/XR Owners club challanged this person and he made a quick get away.
I have taken Digital pictures of this individual and the information has been shared with the Major Crime squad of the Victoria Police today after they contacted me about it and asked for copies of the pictures.
I have spoken to one of the moderators of this forum tonight but have been asked to not to post the pictures on the forum yet for legal reasons.
All I can say is I urge you if your car was at the Melbourne Holden and Ford show be extra vigilant when and if I get the OK I will post the pics in this area and Pub.
Criminal or someone from a manufacturer? Eg. warranty voiding.
And the difference is?

Here is wisdom.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the BEAST:
for it is the number of a F6 Typhoon; and its number is 0217.
hmmm that is very interesting indeed, something to keep in mind
was it just of newer cars or older cars too? that could be a tell tale as to whether its warranty based or not.
maybe some electrical tape over vin numbers, and not displaying plates is the order of the day for shows now...

Perhaps some might keep their bonnets shut. Unless you've done something to the engine bay that you want to show off, of course.
A lot of shows also require you to put the bonnet up to state "i'm here for the judging" not just on display. So mostly need the bonnet up at shows for judging. Also its a check box on almost all judging panels, if a judge can't get access you get minimal points.
