Low fuel chime warning on BA

Hi there
I have had my new BA XR6 MkII shockwave for 10 weeks & in loving it, but the only the low petrol chime that sounds I find is an annoying pain in the arse. I know you can stop the chime in the territory but does any1 know if you can stop it in the BA? & if so how? I spoke to my dealer & he didnt know but agreed it was annoying.
Merry Xmas

I will have to check when I get back to work, but you may be able to toggle the chime on and off with the diagnostic tool.

Re: Low fuel chime warning on BA

The seatbelt warning can be turned off, but I've never heard of the fuel warning being able to be switched off.

I've never heard mine anyway, my tank never gets that low!!

Re: Low fuel chime warning on BA

I have had a quick look, it seems it can't be done. I have to ask why you would want to though............
