i was wondering about insurance on lowered cars. my insurance company said i can only go 30mm lower than standard, but i see heaps of cars around lower than that so i was wondering how low r your cars and how did u go about insurance on them

most are 30mm plus alot of other things have to be within spec as well such as the centre of the headlamps have to be a minimum form the ground and all other crap. if you can get tickford lowered suspension they will accept that and it is lower than 30mm other wise your just gonna have to change insurance agencies.

Hehe, I had the lowest pedders springs I could get in my BA SE ute, as you alll know a stock SE is almost as high as a RTV! haha so I came down heaps, required camber kits and all, very nice now, pity it's the stock 16" wheels, the sump guard now knocks over a coke can :)

MY EF was dumped at least 40
brother wrote it off, yet insurance had a looked and was ok with it.

Dont know if there is a set limit, perhaps its case per case dependant?
