Had the MKII lowered weekend before last. Looks fantastic dropped about 4omm. BUT it had a bad rubbing noise as i pulled in an out of my driveway and all others, car wasn't scrapeing either as i have 15mm of clearance at home. Took the car in for its first 1oook oil change and the bloke at Peter Warrens threw it up on the hoist after i mentioned it, the second coil was rubbing on that little cup thingy it sits in. Long story short the F**kwit who installed the springs put them in UPSIDEDOWN. Took it back right after the oil change and got it fixed. Still doing when i got home in the front end this time, took it back wensday and they apparently fixed the front end. NOPE. Its annoying the shit out of me and when i rang the manager back today after waiting to see if it'd dissapear over the weekend i got told its because they had to loosen all the bolts and their just bedding in, "give it 1oookm's and it'll go away". Been 800 and its still there. Any idears fellas, i also need a camber kit could that be a possible cause. I was told i will need one if i dont want to kill the rubber but im sure if it was causing this problem they'd know.

You definately need a camber kit if you lowered it 40mm, otherwise you will eat through the inside of your tires in a little over 3 months. Maybe the noise u hear is from the shocks. Did u change them as well??

Yes but i lost the cable to hook the digi cam up to the computer.

Pedders own gear, looks and rides great but nothing they do can get rid of the noise. Going in tomorrow and asking them to either fix it or return it to the way it was. When to my uncles shop on sat and showed the blokes there the tyre report thing (Front only) and they said i didn't need a castor camber kit at all it was fine the way it is, so i now know they are liars (Twice now).
