Well some general questions of people, im putting my EF I6 into my EA after my EA 3.9 suffered a headgasket+timing guide troubles. Im intrested to know if the conversion should go without any trouble.

Im going to remove the distributorless ignition system and replace it with my EA MPFI coil and dizzy. Does the dizzy fit in the EF block, and is their mounting provisions for the coil?

Im going to take out the EA engine + trans as a single item, and bolt the EF block up to my EA 4speed, im 99.99% sure this will work ok.

Im going to retain the EA engine mounts, although i do have the EF hydraluic mounts, would these be the better ones to use?

Not sure about most of your questions, but im pretty sure that you need to make a bracket to go off the inlet to mount the coil.

the ea mpfi dizzy will go in dramas. though you will have to make mounting breackets for the coil, i'd suggest just a 2/3mm flat plate hanging down from 2 of the inlet manifold bolt (pots 3 and 4)

auto should bolt up as the only change in bellhousing i know of is on the au model.

the ef mounts are better, but i had a look at mine i have know idea how they bolt down (properly), i'd say stick with the ea ones to be safe, although if you manage to install the engine with the ef mounts let me know ;-)

Where the dizzy goes in, on the EF its a cam angle sensor, so dont know if it would cause probs with the ECU.

well id like to be level with you. Still you will have a good 20rwkw advantage on me, and 3.45's. So ill have to do a few mods to catch up. I may sell the turbo to fund some NA mods.
