Im having a manual conversion done on my ea falcon, it is a 3 speed at the moment, they are swapping everything but the diff which will be left untill i find a 3.7 diff, what will it be like driving with the 3 speed diff in the car until i find a new diff???

Not the best. One has to really let the clutch out slowly etc with the 2.77 and if you're learning (as I was) it's very easy to stall. A cheap 3.08 or similar will solve the problem and is well worthwhile.

It's not that bad, like what was said just have to let the clutch out slowly. On the + side you only do 1650rpm down the hwy.

The answer is ALWAYS more cookies.. Unless the cops are around, they can fine you for spinning the wheels etc..


Ohh, and how much $$ are you looking at to do everything but the actual box? Thats an interesting thing to do Usually the big $$ (labour-wise) is in putting the pedalbox in, anyway

deffinately get a 3.08 diff, they're as cheap as anything these days.
i sold the one out of my EF for $50
