Hi all,
Anyone with MKII XR8,s manuals on order, have anyone recieved theres yet
otherwise when is it coming.
Mine is due at the dealer friday

Dont have to wait long(not)!!!!!!

Mine arrive last Wednesday..pick it up this Wednesday. Windows tinted and lower grill done last Friday.Unichip fitted today, exhaust going on tomorrow. Spoke to the peolpe doing the mods....before mods figure was 198RWKW...find out tomorrow what the end result will be.

Mine hit the dealer today, i might get it late tomorrow but i doubt i can get a cover note quick enough. If its after 2:oopm i wont be able to get off work anyway. So for now to be realistic it looks light thursday as my rep is having wensday off the bludger. But its at the dealer thats the main thing, first thing i was told was that it had 78k's on it but had a ford sticker saying it was a predelivery test drive by ford. Oh i cant wait now......................

Don't be surprised if it has a few k's on it...as I said in another thread, mine had 109 and I notice that Leigh's (XRQTOR) had a few on it also.

Why would it have so much km's on it when its a brand new buy. I know my mates on went to Herrods for a suspension kit and all and it wasnt drivin there. It was transported. Not sure why yours had 109km on it?

All 6-speeds are being test driven by the factory before being shipped to ensure the smile on your face is a big one!!!

id rather have some kays on the clock from a test drive (not a hooning) just to make sure everything is ok rather then getting it and finding something wrong so it goes back to the dealer for another week or 2

Yeah the car came in with the stick saying it has been tested by Ford. We've now had two 6 speeds arrive with about 70-80km with the sticker. It is normal for this to happen when there is a new product or in this case a new gearbox to make sure the cars are 100% before they get shipped.
So there really is no reason to worry that the car has been thrashed!
