Hi ...
I would really appreciate if anyone in the know would give me an approx.
cost of the following modifications and who is the man or team in Sydney to fit it for me in thier workshop.

(BA XT Sports - 6cyl)

- Full Herrod Stainless system (hi flow cat back)
- K&N filter
- Cold air induction off XR6T
- Snorkel off XR6T
- Change diff gear ratio to 3.55
- Unichip

Cold air induction off XR6T and Snorkle would be at the Parts dept at you nearest Ford dealer, K&N Filter from Rocket Industries, Herrod system maybe from FF member BOSSGT who has his own workshop and any APS dealer (eg Autotech Granville) for the Unichip, although Autotech/BOSSGT maybe able to help you on that one too.

K&N Filter- I think it was $100, not quite sure
Snorkel and air induction of Turbo- Ask Parts Department in Ford. Dad paid $30 for the snorkel, don't know about the induction
Gear Ratio-No idea, speak to Ford
Unichip- $1290 fitted and two dyno's. Dyno before and after to see gains.

With everything done to your car, you should be looking anywhere from 155rwkw to 175rwkw, from what I've heard.

I'd be interested to hear the opinions on this coz I plan to mod mine some more, before November. And I'd like to know what would be worth doing.

I have a Unichip as the only mod. I have 150rwkw. Next is zorst I think. Not sure what yet though.

Bear in mind, there are other chips out there too.

OK dave but what kind of trade would I get on a 2003 XT sports in excel. condition (18000ks?)
and what would be the cost of a turbo same age/condition?

(i'd be up for 10 to 15 grand for sure)

There might not be small gains with the mods that are planned. Dad's car (XR6) only had a Cat Back Zorst on it and it gave out 134rwkw and 417Nm before the Unichip was put on. After the chip was put on it was reading 143rwkw and 450Nm.

From what I have heard with Full Herrod systems on the Barra 182, you can expect at least 15rwkw from that alone, so with the Unichip, it might increase it to 20rwkw. And like I said before, the gains should be anywhere from 155 to 175rwkw.

With regards to the air intake, I reckon you should go with the SS Induction instead of the XR6 Turbo intake. They say you'll get atleast 10rwkw from that.
