Changed my mind, the block is now in shed corner, 500hp motor being built for it as we speak.

Re: Modifying GT's - poll

Mines had work done to put out well over 400hp, original block and still has original horns, if I as back enough to drive it, i'd take out the engine and throw something else into it, but I'll be lucky to do 1000ks a year the way I'm going, so I'll leave it as it is now, nice and sweet, with optional dust on cover

Mick.

Re: Modifying GT's - poll

you can count me in for a stockie

if i had a choice between buying a stockie & one with $20K in extras for the same price i would still take the stockie any day

Re: Modifying GT's - poll

I voted go for your life .
I brought a stock XA GT Coupe 2 years ago matching numbers 68000 miles no rust
apart from under rear window . Pulled the engine out and put it away . It is now a rolling shell that has been painted and now putting back together with new parts and 393 stroker with alloy heads .All stock stuff pulled of will be boxed up and kept.
Just incase I get old and decide stock is better(don't think this will happen).

Any mods that can be changed back like the engine department is fine.I like em with the original type wheels but with a strong engine to match the tuff look of the car.
