I don't have a leather shifter on my AU, but I plan to add one at some point.

I do have a leather steering wheel and it's much nicer than the stock one.

Can someone who has driven a manual with the stock XR Knob and the MOMO one, tell me if the MOMO one makes the shifts easier or more bearable?

Yeah, I got the Momo auto shifter in grey. Its just a tart-up basically. Exactly the same shape and dimensions as the standard one except colour coded to the Momo steering wheel. Has Momo embossed on the top. I will reply with a closeup photo tomorrow for ya!

Momo looks nicer thats about it. It is a colour coded leather knob to the stering wheel, and basically has leather where that grey plastic bit is.

With the manual gearknob the momo one is realy round. If you have a small hand you may not like it. I personally like the look of it, but don't know if it's worth the extra asking price.

the leather shifter is nice too, standard if you have leather trim, and out of interest could it be ordered afterwards? and would it be cheaper than the momo?? worth the ask.

personally I prefer the standard polished look over the momo (for autos)
The leather auto knob (from ghia etc) is about the same price as the momo, around $200 retail.
