Hey guys,,just put my tailshaft on my xe with the new 9 inch diff and it looks to have quite a large pinion to tailshaft angle,,at the uni between cap ubolt and the tailshaft i have a 30 mm gap at the bottom and a 10 mm gap at the top just to give you an idea of the angle,,is this normal?

Are they trying to make up for acceleration twist of the diff,,this is useless to me since its a circuit race car and has stiff bushes in it.

Anyone elses diff look like this.

Is the car jacked up in the air? If so, let it down. When springs are loaded properly the diff should rotate back to a better angle.

I will let it down today but the jack stands are on the diff axle tubes
so shouldnt make a difference.
