hi people first off im new at this.....very new. i got my ba xr6 ute 10000ks ago (5weeks) and am happy exept for,hot spotted disks. busted steering rack,and blew the front mufler after a drive to byron bay,18 hours straght. i have recently got a k n n air filter for a gen 3 that just fits No 2116.but no real power diference.what do i do next without spending 5grand.please help me speed this baby up. would have gone the xr8 but p plates r restricting!!!!!!!

A Herrod exhaust will help. Along with your filter that should free up some kw. You should be close to 200kw. Although I don't see many Nm out of it all.

Like RATT said go see someone who know's these vechiles(HERROD'S) and ask away, they will point you in the right direction, just dont shake their hand's they seem to have a contagious bug there.

Ive heard that standard BA's dont work well with exhaust upgrades. Heard of one where the exhaust was taken back off for standard one becasue it was vibrating bad or something. Don't ask me how.

Mate, if you mod your car without letting the insurance company know, you run the risk of them not honouring any claims if they find out.

And if you let them know, they might whack the insurance up to the same level as an XR8 anyway.
