i am new here, so hi to every one for the first time!

i have had my baby for just under a year now. i am not really all that happy with the performance of the car. it go's ok, it's just my brother has gotten a 180sx 2.0l turbo and i wanna keep up with him a little better. not that i will ever really keep up with him, but i'm sure you no what i meen.

what i would love is for people to tell me what mods should be done and what the prices for each mod would be max i wanna spend is $2k

tell me if it is a waste of time trying to get this car going quicker.

Manual, exhaust, diff.
Depending on whether you do the work and how you buy the box (ie wrecked car with 5speed) you will pay less than $2k.
Diff - I know a wrecker who will do a 3.45 for $650.
Exhaust - New NOT CHEAP but you can find good secondhand ones for a few hundred. Make sure you get the extractors with that!
