dragged a mates boxacrap VN wagon yesterday (3.8 auto with 450,000 km on the clock), and he beat by about half a length to 100km/h
This was on saturday when it was about 31 degrees near geelong, and i had 3 other people in the car, he only had one. I had the air-con on flat out, economy mode, and on LPG haha. I don't really want to make excuses thous, coz I somehow don't think it would have been too much different without all the mates either/petrol/power mode, coz my car is slow as in 1st gear.
So after this humiliation, especially coz 2 of the mates in the car were holden fans, i'm thinkin a manual conversion is the way to go. Hopefully i should get it done by mid january, pending on the $$$ situation of course haha
PS. i saw a shite load of kickass ef/el's in torquay and on my way from ballarat. A couple of nice EB's too. Anyone here claim ownership of any e-series i may have seen?
put it this way, my EF got beaten by my mates VN sedan, beat me convincingly.
both cars were on LPG i was in economy. LPG makes a difference
your car should be faster on Petrol (mine is)
