are my engine mounts shot??
just finished installing my edelbrock performer and holley on my xw with a 302w and im wondering how the hell i get the idle down
i dont have a tacho but it sounds like about 1300-1500 and the idle screw is fully backed off.any one else had a similar problem??
and abut the mounts I was in the garage and wanted to see if it gained any balls so i stalled it up slowly...foot on the brake, i just wanted to see if i spin the back wheel (single spinner diff) then back off but both wheels went nuts then the engine lifted up on to one side and kept revving after i backed off so i turned the car off.
its scared the shit outta me cos the car was sliding forward (brakes locked)
would i be right in saying the engine mounts are ****ed??
