its my mums old car, she doesnt drive any more so she gave it to me, helped me out a shit load with my current finiacial situation

its a 2.6 ltr auto with all the goodies, elec windows & mirrors and belive it or not i rekon the seats are more comfy that the ghia, more adjustments and shit, but it doesnt compare anywhere else, this thing is a shit box lol

with some of the money i saved i went and bought a pioneer cd player to replace the tape deck and some new alpine 6.5 inch alpine coaxials to replace the original blown speakers

its a big step down from the ghia but driving this gives me incentive to save my ass off to get into something decent again

what do u think? a sad sight isnt it lol

paint doesn't quite look as good as the EL... but ah.. u gotta do what u gotta do :)

naa still got the el, but im not driving it any more, ive cancelled the insurance, which is handy caus i only payed it 2 months ago so ive got a nice cheque coming my way!!

ive had a little bit of interst in it, but time will tell

the paint on the magna isnt too bad, most of it was resprayed earlier this year after mum kind of drove it into the side of a suzuki, there wasnt much damage but i fixed all 4 doors up at work for a nice suprise for her, im a good son arnt i? lol, she hit the side of the suzuki at around 5 - 6 kms and done about $1500 worth of damage to the magna, but wrote the suzuki off!

magna 1 - suzuki 0 lol

the magna actually isnt that bad a car, i just know im gonna miss the el soooo much

it looks to be in good nick mate, my sister has one as their seccond car, and yeah it serves them well.....

but like you say a huge step backwards from the fairmont ghia.

oh wells, oneday you'll have a BA and it wont matter anymores anywayz lol

yeah same thing, cruise, climate, elec everything, velour (well when i get around to steam cleaning it, it will be soft again lol)

the top end has been replaced twice in the 8 years mum has owned it, same with the trans, but i think the trans needs some work or replacement again, magnas r us here i come lol

it aint an EL ghia but atleast its the luxury model. Have you ever driven a car that wasnt top of the line? LOL. shame it aint the V6 model, they go alright.
