I finally got the time to take the XR6 to willowbank last night, perfect cool crisp night. The car is a dead stock N/A BA XR6 with 50k's on it. I was surprised to get about 20 runs in and the MPH was always 91mph!, bloody consistant, the ET was mostly 15.5, best 15.23 worst 15.62. it made no difference in sportsmode manual or just in drive, just stall it up WOT, off the brakes on the amber and bing same run nearly every time.
What sort of times have people been getting out of these things, dead stock?, I was surprised at the terminal speed for the old cab, e.t. was about what is to be expected.

15.2 is pretty impressive imo especially for an auto :D

That's an auto significantly faster than earlier model manual XR6s, not bad progress!

yeah and the XT's are basically exactly the same, except for the lower diff ratios...

I think Wheels or Motor has clocked a 15.2 quarter in a stock auto XT...

You can feel the 3.45 gears in the XR compared to the 3.23 in the XT. The XR is a lot punchier of the line!!

good on you for having a go, 20 runs let your car cool after 2 runs you will find that you will get your best time after a cool..
