Re: new 2008 falcon revealed

Thanks for those.

I can't wait to see it in the showroom. I like what I see so far but it hasn't impacted me quite the same as the BA did. It looks like a progression from the BF but in a conservative way which may be a good thing.

290 kW for the XR8 and 270kW for the XR6T is pretty wild tho.

Some of the guys on the australian ford forums are having fun with photochops, i can see a very big aftermarket with the new designs.

Funny you say that about the BA when it was revealed i had reservations about the design being to conservative from the AU design, which i loved & still do, but it was too far ahead of it's time & they made sure the BA wasn't going to be so ratical. Funny thing also is that the AU as a secondhand car the dealers can not get enough of them, as soon as there on the lot they are sold.
The BA got it's looks from the AUDI

go fords go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's good that Ford have the three wagon approach and I don't like to say it but the Holden sportwagon is a very nice looking wagon in my eyes.

The Mondeo with a diesel engine may just be the answer though in this high priced fuel era for the moment.
