I've had my new BA Fairlane (G220) for about 2 weeks and I've seen a bubble on the drivers door handle. Perhaps stupidly i rubbed it and it burst and now I've got a bursted plastic bubble.
I'm going to take it back for the 3000km "service" to say its totally unacceptible that the door decides to de-laminate, but has anyone else had the problem?
It looks like a ridiculous quality plastics problem to me!

(Love the G220... although it's no rocket compared to my old LS1 SS)
Yes absolutely - this should be fixed under warranty without any questions. You shouldn't be seeing any trim dramas at all for a long time yet!
If you wouldn't mind wasting a few minutes, I'd love to hear a bit more about your beast - what you love about it, not too fond of, and how it compares to the LS1...

What Mr Sparkle said+
First I've heard of this particular problem. The coating is metal over plastic to get that cool touch feeling.

Love about it?
- Stereo
- Wild leather interior - got the red & black
- auto-dipping side mirror
- Semi-decent exhaust note.
- My "FAR Q" sticker on the back of an old man's car :)
Not-so-good stuff:
- The general fit of the interior plastics (gettting it fixed, but it should never have left the factory like it is)
- The seats - they're supportive sure, but I just can't get comfortable
- The acceleration is a little soft. It's no 6sec car for sure.
- The petrol er.. tube thing to the petrol tank doesn't allow the nozzles to fit right in allowing spray back.
- Why did I get black!!!
Strangely, I left a huge tire mark in my garage the other day when I floored it. The SS _never_ could do that. Probably just the tires, but it scared me s..tless heading for the concrete wall!
Some pics attached. I'm going to take some better ones when I get a chance.
Very Nice, love the black.......When you do take more pics, make sure you get some nice ones of the rear for us to see (haven't really seen any good shots of the back).... and to show the sticker - sounds good!
Now that's a classy ride!! Love it!! Black is best, too!!
Throw on a set of GTP rims and you'll be Pimpin
