I dont like any of the current colours, 'cept for sillouette. Blueprint, citric acid and blood orange were the best.Their replacements look poor, especially the blue. Envi is average, vibe looks very common.
There are a whole heap of new colors on the way, i've seen the schedule, thats all i'll say. The longer you wait the better they get, there are some awesome colors coming this year.
I have just placed an order for a replacement XR6 at work and have had a hard time picking a colour I liked. I currently have a Blueprint XR6 which I think is the best colour EVER but of course, no longer available. My wife has a Territory in Lightning Strike so that rules that one out, Black is too hard to keep clean. Shockwave is just too blue and velocity looks washed out. I think you need a GT to carry the bright yellow. Pearl blue looks good but not on xrs.
In the end I've settled for Mercury Silver but I'm really not very excited about it.
I quite like the yellow. It reminds me of the column shift XD Taxi I learned to drive in.
I just saw a yellow XR ute and it looked great. I wouldnt like to try to sell it though, dont think it would be very popular, "chicken yellow", lol
Why do people say that black is to hard to keep clean? Surely if you wash your car once or twice a fortnight it is just as easy fo keep it clean as any other colour, I dont get it? Do you mean that the dirt shows up more easily on the black paint? I wouldn't like to keep a new car out in the weather. Too much of a target for the birds. If I had to I would whack a cover on it.
