I saw a few pages about the new commodore on this months Motor magasine. Being an Ford fan, i must admit the next commodore looks pretty neat. The front looks a bit like the concept Torana they made for the motor show, back looks very different, looks more european. Lets just hope Ford don't dissapoint us like they have from EL to AU, allthough rumours have it will look something like the new mustang in us.

As some pointed out in that thread it looks an awful lot like a photshop job of the Saturn Aura. Good luck to Holden if they run with that design.

The back looks like the current Nissan Maxima which in turn looks like the VW Passat. They should either make it look like a european car or make it look like an Australian car - something in between - Nahhh

Audi? Whey do they just say it like it is and call it the next OPEL. Its OBVIOUS the Commodore is a European car because it has the fuel filler on the right hand side.

Anyway Audi drivers here in Europe are the equivalent of Commodore drivers in Australia: ie: arroagant dickheads and a real menace to share the road with.

I think it looked alright. If you look behond the slander of holden because your a ford fan, you would probably agree. dickheads drive all sorts of cars, not just holdens.

But wherever I travel in Australia, its the reckless boys in their Commodores who really stand out.

Also read the SS is getting the 6ltr. When will they stop!
I get the feeling the VE is going to be a heavier car though which might mean times may not change much with the extra power it gets.
