Just wondering has anyone seen the new TV advertisement for the MKII XR8 Ute? I caught the end of it last night and I thought it was a bit corny. Maybe because I missed the beginning, I missed out on the point of the ad. But I thought that "Its got some awesome pulling power" and all the chicks flocking towards it was pretty corny.
So what's gonna happen when I drive my MKII XR8 Ute? I don't wanna pull chicks, I wanna pull fellas! =D
Hmm yeh the Territory is the best ad ive seen from the Ford camp, the new XR6 Turbo mark II one is ok...
The XR8 one seems to be missing the point.....
I agree with you FPV TURBO. I forgot about that one. The Territory ad is one of the better ones, yes! I'd personally like to see a GT or and F6 or something being flung around the Great Ocean Road, at sunset to the tune of Bring Me Back to Life by Evanescence and you hear the roar of the engine die down in the distance as the ad finishes....but somehow I dont think they are allowed to do "those kinds of ads" anymore.

Haha they are allowed to, providing theres no spirited driving above the speedlimit, or looks to be neways.
Holden have had some great ads in the past however I don't see too many other then the factory bonus runout ones they run occasionally... Ford was doing a hell of alot of advertising last night on TV with the Car of the year awards ad..
