NF Fairlane mods?
hi guys, brand new here, had my Ps for 6 months now, been driving an 1996 NF fairlane Ghia 5 litre since i got my Ls
the car is my dads, unfortunatley, its done 450,000kms and is on LPG
thing is damn sluggish for a 5 litre, the diff is also about to die, but were getting a 9" LSD installed soon (yes, it will be legal and the ABS will still work).
any suggestions of what i could do to it to give it a bit of extra go, i want to raise it to about 190-200kw, its stock is 165kw but i have a feeling its only running 160ish.
keep in mind that i dont have a massive budget and its LPG :( and i know very little about the technical side of engines.
PS(my dad has this idea about dropping a new engine in (still LPG) what engine would fit? hes after something with a fair bit of grunt if he does it though)
