Question noisy valve train in BA I6 engines

Any body hear of noisy valve operation in BA I6 engines?

Yes, but to be honest it's only on cold mornings for a couple of seconds (literally) until the oil is up top. I can hear it while I'm in the car, but if I get out and walk around I can't hear it. I think all cars do this, unless your talking a dry sumped engine. I've also noticed it doesn't happen if you drive the car conservatively before stopping it.

I found the problem, the tapping noise was coming from the bottom of the motor, near the torque converter, I think it is probably a bearing noise, you can hear it only around 1400 RPM and when the car deaccelerated. Down to see Mr Ford I think.
